DISCLAIMER: This is a super boring dinner week because we are leaving town on Saturday. I’m trying to use up things we have in our fridge and pantry. And on weeks when we will be gone, I always try to make dinners where we will have no leftovers. Sorry for being so boring. If you need some different recipes than the ones I have here, you can visit my previous meal planning weeks: Week One and Week Two.

Grocery List

Almost all of the meals we make at home also include salad. If you want to have salad as well, don’t forget to include lettuce, carrots, broccoli, etc. on your list.

Monday: Sandwich bread, mayo, mustard, lunch meat, cheese of your choice, avocado, whatever else you like on your sandwich, chips, soup (we are having Ramen noodles)

Tuesday: 1/2 lb ground beef (we are making two hamburgers), salt, pepper, Lawry’s Seasoning Salt (optional), 1/2 c beer (optional-you could also use egg), cheese of your choice, buns, and toppings for burgers (mayo, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, avocado, onion, etc.)

Wednesday: 1/2 lb ground beef, 1 can of chili, 1 small can of tomato sauce, macaroni and cheese or 2 cups of cooked noodles

Thursday: Spaghetti sauce, meatballs, spaghetti noodles, bread

We make our spaghetti sauce and meatballs ahead of time and freeze them in individual packages. I’ve linked to both of the recipes that we use above. Feel free to just simplify this and use a jar of spaghetti sauce.

Friday: Sandwich bread, mayo, mustard, lunch meat, cheese of your choice, avocado, whatever else you like on your sandwich, chips, soup (we are having Ramen noodles)

Saturday: Out of Town

Sunday: Out of Town

Hamburgers:

We usually make our own hamburger patties when we BBQ. We keep it pretty simple by adding salt, pepper, Lawry’s Seasoning Salt, and 1/2 c of beer to the ground beef.

Goulash:

Brown your ground beef. Meanwhile follow the package directions to make the macaroni and cheese or noodles. To the cooked ground beef add the tomato sauce, can of chili and macaroni and cheese or noodles.

I hope you enjoy some of the meals from meal planning week three. Of course, feel free to change it up to fit your needs, or just use it to get inspired about dinner and try a new recipe or two.
